Just to make it clear, I don't hate EA's Battlefront. Taken on its own merits, it's actually a pretty fun shooter. That being said, I still didn't love it, because, well, it didn't really feel like a Battlefront game, to me. The battles are too small in scale, there is no class-based system, and no capturing command posts to dominate the battlefield. As such, I wanted to write down my own set of ideas for a Battlefront game closer to the original two (I've only played the first two games before EA's BF was released).
